Spend three days with two people who've built their lives around this place. A chef, a cultural ambassador, educator, forager, and storyteller who knows Newfoundland inside and out.

What's included:

Friday Evening:

Dinner at The Greene’s House. Chef Alex is cooking. Lori McCarthy joins you at the table and shares stories about how traditional techniques have shaped this coast—and why they're worth preserving.

Saturday:

Learn & Make with Lori: Walk the property to identify and harvest willow, rushes, and grasses. In Lori's yurt, you'll prepare what you've gathered and weave a small birch bark basket. By day's end, you have something you made with your hands, understanding of why it matters, and a meal provided by Alex.

Cook with Chef Alex: Learn techniques, work with wild ingredients, and share a meal together. Leave with recipes you'll use at home.

Morning and afternoon sessions alternate.

Sunday Morning:

Forage walk with the basket you made, learning what grows wild here and how to gather it.
